Thinking about this conversation with @Astridd and @Eceni, I'm of the opinion that although #capitalism is incompatible with human survival, it will collapse under its own weight before human survival becomes impossible. The question is how much damage it will do before it collapses.
Obviously collapse isn't a thing to hope for in itself -- it will cause enormous disruption and suffering -- but the sooner it happens, the less destructive it will be.

- l’entraînement a été fait sans tenir compte des licenses, normalement, tu peux utiliser du code GPL si ton propre projet et GPL, mais via la magie de l'extrusion de code, ton projet privé peut contenir du code fortement inspiré de code GPL, et donc "volé" dans le processus.
- même problème, dans l'autre sens, ton code GPL peut se retrouver a contenir du code "fortement inspiré" de code non-open source, et créé un risque légal.
- l'entraînement des modèles d'IA demande énormément de resources (leur usage, beaucoup moins, mais l'usage requiert l'entraînement). On parle beaucoup de l'eau (mais c'est plus nuancé), mais il y a aussi l'électricité, et l'augmentation forte d'usage de gaz très polluant, normalement utilisé en dépannage, qui tournent à plein régime.
- l'entraînement n'est pas fait seulement sur de code, mais sur toute production textuelle de l'humanité, sans égard pour la prop. intel.

I think the non-politicians in your list seem not to be in politics or corporate management or VC investor world, so i guess you are right it is possible to exist - though i do have doubts for some ....but politicians
mamdani, sanders, AOC ...you would imagine if they ever got power and did what thay say, that it would make a difference, BUT
1. if they are real, its why they wont get to real power
2. if they get to power, lets see actions
@distractal i mean 8 am aware of good stuff mamdani has done or does, but its also just mayor level and who knows if that builds up his image to rally support only to show his real face later in life on a higher position. ...after all he kinda had this meeting with trump where they were besties and a lot of stuff somtimes seems to be more performance than real impact ...so yeah - i dont buy it anymore. sorry.

the nurse told me to measure my blood pressure every morning, keep doing the uh eating right and exercising thing* until i get a consistent 140/90 or less. i have been doing so.
the tester is some cheap thing off amazon, doctors are fine with this one weird trick cos they use basically the same one
right arm i typically score ~150/90, left arm i'm getting ~135/85
i am doubting i have notably higher blood pressure in my right arm than my left
i'm beginning to think in practical terms this number is +/-10mmHg
* 30 min walk every day is annoyingly effective in making me feel generally better
@davidgerard I was advised that getting different results for different arms was perfectly normal. To see whether you are improving or the reverse always repeat using the same arm and ideally take multiple readings (I always did 3).
My issue is low blood pressure. I have to warn nurses I am not about to die when they take it and I'm 90/60 . Needless to say when I returned a systolic of 60 they correctly told me to get back in bed.
